What about James Harden? – NBA

James Harden is not the same: in the Brooklyn Nets’ loss to the Sacramento Kings, the shooting guard scored only 4 points in almost 40 minutes on the court. The Beard seems to have his days numbered in a team that is nothing without Durant.

The shadow of doubt will always accompany James Harden and rumors of a possible transfer are getting stronger before the time to do it runs out.

A player who has helped transform an NBA that has included him among the 75 best players in its history and whom experts came to point out as the best offensive player of all time when he won the MVP trophy in 2018.

A player who put in check the hegemony of the best Golden State Warriors and of whom today there does not seem to be much left.

The Beard who lowers his performance when he plays away from Brooklyn, does not quite find his place in the Nets and is far from the best version of him as he showed in the Brooklyn Nets’ loss to the Sacramento Kings.

A meeting in which Harden signed his worst personal record since the 2010-2011 season, when he was a substitute in the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With just 4 points (2 of 11 from the field, including five misses from the triple and without taking a single free throw) and in which he suffered again with six turnovers, James Harden was one of the worst players on court during his team’s defeat.

The only positive number to rescue were the 12 assists he provided, including one for Nicolas Claxton, the game’s top scorer.

The shooting guard, who after the meeting assured that he does not know how long he has left playing basketball, is a true reflection of the identity crisis that the Brooklyn Nets are experiencing.

The team – it has 176 million dollars in salaries this season – that before the season started instilled fear in all its rivals today has lost the respect of its opponents.

Against the Sacramento Kings – a team with 19-34, the fifth worst balance in the league, and which this morning went into halftime losing by 20 against the Golden State Warriors – Steve Nash’s Nets added their sixth consecutive loss.

The Brooklyn Nets showed that they are nothing without Kevin Durant: both Harden and Kyrie Irving -14 points and 5 of 15 shooting from the field- are not enough to sustain the ring aspirations of a team that right now does not intimidate anyone.
