Wasim Akram praises Surya Kumar Yadav for his blistering batting

After some great action in the group stage, including upset defeats for some of the top teams, the T20 World Cup is now gearing up for the semi-finals. New Zealand will face Pakistan in the first semi-final on Wednesday, and India will face England the next day. Aside from losing to South Africa, the Indian side remained unbeaten in their other Group 2 games, including victories over Pakistan and Bangladesh. India’s top form owes much to Surya Kumar Yadav, who fired from all guns. He has scored his 3.5th century in his last four games. With 225 runs in five matches, he is the third-best run-getter in the T20 World Cup. Furthermore, his hit rate is a staggering 193.96.

His shooting range impressed everyone, including Pakistan’s Pace star Wasim Akram. “Mujhe toh lag raha ye kisi aur planet se aaya hai (I think he is from another planet). He is entirely unique. His run-making approach is great. He is the only batsman to score 1,000 runs in T20I in 2022. “It’s great to see him, not just against Zimbabwe, but against some of the best bowling tackles in the world,” Akram said in an A Sports discussion. hai, gend lag bhi jaaye. matlab maja aata hai aise ladke ko khelta dekh kar (He’s so fearless that he doesn’t even worry about getting hit in the body. I like to watch him play.) Bowler jaaye toh jaaye kahaan (where the bowler should throw the ball at him)
Surya Kumar is currently T20I’s number one hitter according to ICC rankings and the Indian team hopes he can continue his excellent form to the knockout.
