Recently, their African counterpart, Namibia defeated the Zimbabwe team by 3-2 in the 5-match T20I series. However, with Afghanistan, Zimbabwe would not want to repeat the same way it did with Namibia and would like to settle the score.
As per the past record, the Afghanistan team has defeated the Zimbabwe team 15 times (all in ODI matches) and will be looking forward to add few more.
