NBA – Explosive Day, Part Two

The National Basketball Association follows its natural regular-season course and had 10 career games to reach the playoffs. In PlayOn99 News we leave you all the sports news articles with the most important of the basketball news in their second 5 games of the day.

New Orleans Pelicans 104 – 115 Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz reached its ninth straight road win and clinched third place in the Western Conference against the poor Pelicans who were already beaten early in the fourth quarter.

Bojan Bodganovic was important for the Jazz towards the end, making two 3-pointers and signing 21 points. Although the top scorers were Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley with 29 and 28 points, respectively. Conley also had 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

Dallas Mavericks 103 – 89 Denver Nuggets

Dallas was huge for a poor Denver who looked like a wet chick. The Mavericks weren’t a big deal and even gave up the points lead to Nikola Jokic (27 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists), but the poor offensive performance with 25 turnovers by the Nuggets caused them to lose the game.

Luka Doncic was once again the key player for Dallas by scoring his best assists production (15) so far, this regular season and 21 points with 8 rebounds. His teammates Dwight Powell and Reggie Bullock scored 15 points.

Golden State Warriors 115 – 108 Miami Heat

The Warrios remain at the top of the Western Conference and put a brake on Miami’s good moment. Golden State did not have the best version of Stephen Curry: he played more than half an hour into the game and only signed 9 points, although he provided 10 assists.

The mainstay of the best team in the West was Jordan Poole with 32 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists, followed from afar by Andrew Wiggins with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Do not miss Klay Thompson’s attitude when leaving the stands: the guard has not played for more than two years and left the stadium with the sign that in 6 days he will return to the tracks.

Portland Trail Blazzers 136 – 131 Atlanta Hawks

Crazy! Trae Young scored his name with the best production so far, this regular season -56 points, 4 rebounds and 14 assists- but his team fell to the Trail Blazzers for Anfermee Simons’ personal best with 43 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists.

Since James Harden on December 31, 2016, no player had more than 50 points and 14 assists.

Los Angeles Clippers 104 – 122 Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota recovered from three consecutive defeats and won a key game to enter the Western Conference playoffs.

Those responsible were Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels with a decent production of 28 and 18 points respectively.
