Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha ‘Nani’ has landed on his feet at Venezia and in just a few minutes on the pitch he is already loved by the fans.
His thing has been to arrive and kiss the saint: on Friday his signing was announced and two days later he has already made his debut being decisive for his team.
Not only that, but Nani was key in the agonizing 1-1 draw against Empoli.

The former Sporting CP, Manchester United, Fenerbahçe, Valencia, Lazio and Orlando City started as a substitute and jumped off the bench to come back from the match.
The 35-year-old Portuguese winger came on for Cristian Molinaro in the 72nd minute, with the score already 0-1 against his team because Szymon Zurkowski had put Empoli ahead in the first half.
His impact on the match and on the result was immediate: 115 seconds it took him to give his first assist with the gondolier team!
The player who was free after his time in the MLS, where he was champion, started the play on the left, threw a good wall with Mattia Aramu and ended up giving in for David Okereke to score the equalizer as soon as he entered the field of play.

Nani, who has signed until 2023, has the mission with his team to save the newly promoted Venezia, which, for now, is two points and one place above relegation.
