India will face England in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup in Adelaide on Thursday, with both sides gearing up for an important match. However, England entered Group 1 of the Super 12 stage as runners-up, while India led Group 2 with four wins from her five matches. Rohit Sharma’s team narrowly beat Pakistan and Bangladesh before losing to South Africa. The team scored big wins against Zimbabwe and the Netherlands.

Indian team is now all set to do the big in this T20 World cup in Australia. England is also well prepared by that time, they reached the semi-final this time. Both are having enough experience with such knock-out round matches in the past.

All eyes are on the captain Rohit Sharma ahead of his semi-final, his fourth grand in tournament history.

Rohit scored a half-century against the Netherlands, but he himself admitted that he wasn’t satisfied with his form. He has tried to start quickly at the top of the leaderboard but has so far been unsuccessful.

His first partner, KL Rahul, has been in top form over the last two games and should take some of the pressure off Rohit. The Indian captain is one of the most devastating sluggers in the world’s game once he’s on the move, and fans are hoping he will be by the end of the tournament.

Before the game, Rohit was seen in a video posted to his Instagram by his ICC assessing the situation on his oval ground at Adelaide.

Rohit was a discussion area on the floor where you could try to score. The Adelaide Oval is a unique terrain with short boundaries on both sides and long straight boundaries.
One of India’s best ball-pullers, Rohit will try to target a shorter border against England, which is in fact a strong bowling attack.
