- The Rajasthan Royals players Riyan Parag is again in highlight due to his gesture after taking catch of Marcus Stoinis
- Former Australian opener Matthew Hayden and Ian Bishop weren’t happy with the young player gesture and gave him a piece of advice
- Responding to all the hate, Riyan through a cryptic tweet said, “No one is gonna care in next 20 years”
Controversies is like a hand in hand thing for the Assam-based player, who is playing for the Rajasthan Royals team in this IPL. For Riyan being around controversies is not a new thing. In first instance he was brutally trolled for celebrating Virat Kohli’s wicket, the heated arguments with RCB players Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel where he scored a half century. And now the catch controversy.
So, what is the current issue about?
In the match against the Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals, Parag took a catch while being on the deep, till this time everything seemed fine, but when the player tried to pretend as if the bowl is touching the ground which he did for quite some time. The gesture like this came after when in a similar way previously, Riyan took a catch before, wasn’t given an out. The umpire declared as it was touching the ground. What was it then, Riyan Parag on his second similar occasion celebrated the catch in his own style which later drew a lot of criticism.
On the event, Unhappy with the young players gesture, the former Australian opener Mathew Hayden and Ian Bishop had an advice for the blooming star saying,
“I have got some advice for you young man, cricket is very very long game and we all have very long memories. Never ever tempt fate because it comes around quickly,”

And in response, supporting Mathew Hayden from the commentary box was Ian Bishop, who said,
“Future will determine that,”
Untouched by the criticism, the player responded all through his twitter handle said,
“No one’s gonna care in 20 years, soooo much more to life…. enjoy it”
No one's gonna care in 20 years, soooo much more to life…. enjoy it?

On a personnel note, Riyan seems right, no one is gonna care in next 20 years. The good thing is the player is confident and knows what he does but sometimes things don’t go well even for the best of the players and Riyan is just entered.
