England scored a record-breaking 498/4 in the first ODI vs. Netherlands. In the beginning know body must have know that the ground these two teams are playing, a record is going to be set for the entire history.
The match between the two seemed like the English are giving batting lessons to the Dutch. From the English side it was only the three players with likes of Jos Butler, David Malan and Phil Salt, to score such a monstrous run chase that the Dutch could not even had dreamt off.

Had a few days to reflect on the IPL season. Whilst very disappointed not to go all the way I want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved with the @rajasthanroyals from teammates, support staff and especially all fans! pic.twitter.com/W4d6eIUI2R

From the descending series it was Jos Butler who scored 162* off just 70 deliveries, secondly, it was Dawid Malan who’s 125 off 109 was an additive, and not the least Phil Salt efforts 122 also got noticed quite well off just 93 deliveries.
The Netherlands' players searching for the ball in the trees after a Dawid Malan six. What a sport! #NetherlandsvsEngland #EnglandvsNetherlands #ENGvsNZ @ECB_cricket @KNCBcricket @ICCLive @ICC @ICCMediaComms @CricCrazyJohns @mufaddal_vohra pic.twitter.com/56Rkd7NlcN

The England team already made their intentions very clear in the beginning itself by hitting powerful fours and sixers across the boundary. The interesting this during the match was when Dawid Malan was declared out when was at just 25 runs while the Dutch skipper was bowling but later the decision made by the on-field umpire turned out to be wrong by the saviour third umpire.
Jos Buttler 162*(70)
Phil Salt – 122(93)
Dawid Malan – 125(109)
Liam Livingstone – 66*(22)
Thank you, England.

Then what, thanking to another life given, David Malan made the most of it with help of nine 4s and six 6s scoring massive 125 off 109 balls.
The partnership between Dawid Malan and Phil Salt is going strong for England ?

The Netherland team knowing the practicalities, didn’t seemed trying to chase but ended up scoring relatively decent of 266 runs and saving their face from even the greater shame.
From Netherland’s it was Scott Edwards beautiful 72* off 56 deliveries, Max ‘O’ Dowd’s 55 off 55 deliveries and not the least Bas De Leede’s 28 off 38 ball innings could not match the frequency that the English.
Eventually the match went in favour of the England team, which they won by 232 runs which indeed could be another record.
