Premier League W20 – News, Line-Ups and Predictions

Matchday 20 of the Premier League begins with matches that are unknown and one that will bring us emotions. Find out about news, line-ups and predictions at PlayOn99 News. Arsenal-Wolves and Leeds-Liverpool were postponed due to coronavirus cases.

Crystal Palace – Norwich City (8:30 PM)

The Eagles will host the bottom of the table in London and will seek to return to victory in the Premier League. Crystal Palace does not go through the best physical form, but it is the favorite to take the three points for several reasons.

Norwich city is the worst team of the season: they are last in the Premier League; they have not won for 7 games and they have not scored for 4 games. In these last ones he conceded 11 goals.

The locals fell to Tottenham 3-0 on the last day and will try to rebound from the premises, but they will not be able to count on the sanctioned Wilfried Zaha or his coach, Patrick Vieira, who suffers from coronavirus.

The Canaries lost 5-0 to Arsenal and will not win back the starters who were absent on Boxing Day. Tim Krul, Grant Hanley, Lukas Rupp, Andrew Omobamidele and Milot Rashica will be out of the call due to injury.

Crystal Palace: Guaita; Ward, Andersen, Guéhi, Mitchell; Gallagher, Kouyaté, Hughes; Ayew, Édouard, Schlupp.

Norwich: Gunn; Aarons, Kabak, Gibson, Giannoulis; Melou, Gilmour, McLean; Sargent, Pukki, Tzolis.

Crystal Palace is a clear favorite and has an accessible odd (1.57) to combine. In several games they have scored more than two goals and the rival – Norwich – is one of the most fragile in the Premier League.

Southampton – Tottenham (8:30 PM)

The Saints raised the level of play and will host the Spurs in a difficult stop on matchday 20. Southampton achieved the long-awaited victory after 6 games without a win, against a tough opponent like West Ham and having corrected errors in defense.

Armando Broja is Ralph Hasenhuttl’s ace up his sleeve, while James Ward-Prowse, Valentino Livramento and Jan Bednarek stand out.

Tottenham will pursue the dream of fighting at the top with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, but to do so they will have to continue their 4-game winning streak. Antonio Conte still hasn’t lost since he took over as coach.

Spurs will be without Cristian Romero, Ryan Sessegnon and Giovanni Lo Celso, but will have Heung-Min Son on the team. The South Korean forward will face Soton, the team he scored the most times in his career with 9 goals.

Southampton: Gentleman; Livramento, Bednarek, Salisu, Perraud; Stuart Armstrong, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Redmond; Adam Armstrong, Che Adams.

Tottenham: Lloris; Sánchez, Dier, Tanganga; Royal, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilón; Moura, Son; Kane.

It will be an even game and the odds reflect it: 3.75 for Southampton and 2.0 for Tottenham. Although those of Antonio Conte start with a lot of advantage from the individual and collective. It is a team that has little preparation, but is going through a phenomenal moment.

Watford – West Ham (8:30 PM)

The Hammers will visit a team that has not played the last 3 games due to coronavirus cases and registers a streak of another 4 games without winning. Watford is one of the worst teams in the Premier League, but not by points, but by game.

Claudio Ranieri seems to be on a tightrope and cannot find solutions. Watford seems destroyed from the moral and the game. On top of that they can’t include some of their best players: Ben Foster, Nicolas N’Koulou and Ismaila Sarr.

West Ham had a setback on the last day against Southampton, but they knew how to win against rivals from the Big Six and be at the top of the table. The visit cannot include Declan Rice – star and figure – for suspension, while they will wait for the recoveries of Aaron Creswell and Kurt Zouma.

Watford: Bachmann; Feminine, Troost-Ekong, Cathcart, Masina; Cleverley, Kucka, Sissoko; Dennis, King, Pedro.

West Ham: Fabiansky; Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Johnson; Soucek, Král; Fornals, Lanzini, Benrahma; Antonio.

West Ham (2.10) starts as a favorite and had a great form in this Premier League, but did not leave a good image in their last days. We will have to be attentive to the tie.

Leicester City – Liverpool (1:30 AM)

The big game of the day will face Foxies with Reds in the after-dinner this week 20. These two teams met a few days ago for the Carabao Cup and the match ended in a three-goal draw.

Leicester has conceded 6 goals against the powerful and leader Manchester City, but showed what they can do by scoring 3 goals in the second half.

Leicester is an unstable team, but dangerous. The casualties are endless: Harvey Barnes, Ricardo Pereira, Wesley Fofana, Patson Daka, Caglar Soyuncu, among others.

Liverpool drew Tottenham in their last match and snapped a 6-game winning streak. His Boxing Day match was called off and he couldn’t show his face over the weekend, but we all know a suffocating team will come out.

Jurgen Klopp has many players in doubt coming out of recoveries and coronavirus infections: Virgil van Dijk, Thiago, Curtis Jones, Divock Origi and Fabinho. Andrew Robertson is suspended and will miss the end of the year.

Leicester: Schmeichel; Castagne, Amartey, Ndidi, Vestegaard, Thomas; Soumaré; Tielemans, Maddison; Lookman, Vardy.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Konaté, Tsimikas; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner, Keita; Salah, Jota, Mané.

Liverpool are favorites in every game and have more than 70% chances of winning, but Leicester can get at least a draw if they raise the second half they played in their last match: a close team and quick counterattacks.
