Confirmed: Manchester United is looking for a new coach. The English team needs to fight for major titles and went in search of a person capable of lifting them for the following season.
By Facundo Di Bona (@facudibona).
Manchester United started an exhaustive search process for a new coach for the coming season and for the next few years, which should restructure one of the biggest clubs in the world.
The same team that sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the end of last year and hired German Ralf Rangnick until the end of the season has begun the process of finding a new permanent manager.
John Murtough confirms the manager search is well underway… ?

This was confirmed by John Murtough, the club’s sporting director, at the quarterly team meeting, as leaked by The Athletic:
“We are undertaking a thorough process to sign a new manager on a permanent basis who will take charge of the team from this summer with the aim of getting us back into contention for domestic and European titles”
Rangnick, who has done little to improve Manchester United’s situation since Solskjaer’s departure in November, signed a six-month contract and agreed to stay on for at least two years thereafter in a consultancy role with the team.

A role was similar to that of a manager with the fixed idea of encompassing things on a large scale and a long-term project at the English club.
Murtaugh also stressed that the club absolutely must fight for every title, something Cristiano Ronaldo explained after his unrest in Manchester:
“We know that consistency is the key and we hope to finish in the top four this season in the Premiership. But I want to reiterate that this is not United’s objective and that everyone at the club hopes to fight for the top trophies”
Manchester United is fourth in the Premier League, two points clear of fifth, and still alive in the Champions League, where they will play the second leg of their last-16 tie against Atletico Madrid after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
Their place is in jeopardy in the face of Tottenham, Arsenal, and West Ham’s advances, but it is their lack of effectiveness in front of the goal that is keeping the club on tenterhooks. In terms of play, Rangnick has gone from strength to strength and has taken some of the ghosts of Solskjaer away.
Since Ralf Rangnick became interim manager at Man Utd, no team has created more chances in the Premier League .
But 4️⃣ teams have scored more goals than #MUFC during that period.
