Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the Premier League against Tottenham and surpassed Josef Bican as the top scorer in the history of soccer. The Portuguese player-led Manchester United to victory and continues to break records at the age of 37.

With Cristiano Ronaldo’s three goals against Tottenham, the Manchester United player became the top scorer in the history of soccer with 807 goals, surpassing the 805 scored by Josef Bican.
Cristiano opened his personal account in the Premier League match with a 30-yard strike into the top corner of Hugo Lloris’ net and then capitalized on a great pass from Jadon Sancho to put Manchester United 2-1 ahead.
As the game was going and Tottenham had tied the score, Cristiano appeared in all his splendor to make it 3-2 for Manchester United and sign another hat-trick in his enormous soccer career.

With the first goal, Cristiano equaled Bican and with the second he surpassed him, according to FIFA figures. With the third goal, he showed that the numbers are still too small for him.
Cristiano has scored 5 goals in his career with Sporting Portugal, 135 with Manchester United, 450 with Real Madrid, 101 with Juventus and 115 with the Portuguese national team.

Austrian-born Bican played between 1931 and 1955 and scored most of his goals for Slavia Prague, for whom he scored 427 goals in 221 games.
With his goals against Tottenham, Cristiano also became the fourth highest Premier League scorer for Manchester United with 96 goals, behind only Paul Scholes (107), Ryan Giggs (109) and Wayne Rooney (183).

After the match, Cristiano shared a message on his Instagram account where he did not even mention the historical record he broke and only dedicated himself to mention that he wants the best for Manchester United:
