Phoenix Suns beat Golden State Warriors with a magical performance by Chris Paul in the final minutes. The shooting guard returned to a great level after an injury and led his team to be close to breaking the franchise’s all-time record in the NBA regular season.

Phoenix Suns won by a close 107-103 in their visit to Golden State Warriors for the first time this season. The third time’s the charm, as they say.

They did it with sweat and without the ogre Stephen Curry in front of them due to a sprain. They did it with a magnificent Chris Paul. There is no one better for hot moments. For Paul, the game slows down and it’s clear when the curtain is close to falling.

Chris Paul made 8 of his 15 points and of the Phoenix Suns’ 13 points in the last three minutes of the game. He also dished out 8 assists, the 9th of which didn’t come after Jae Crowder was fouled while alone under the hoop.

Differential player to cause the fourth consecutive defeat to Golden State Warriors, who have already lost the third place in the Western Conference to Luka Doncic‘s Dallas Mavericks.

Chris Paul was the nail in the coffin, but there was more: Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges soared to 22 points and Deandre Ayton closed with a double-double thanks to his 16 goals and 16 rebounds.

Key contributions from a group that has now reached 62 win this season, tying the all-time franchise record from the 1992-93 and 2004-05 seasons.

Phoenix Suns still have six games to go to break the all-time best mark. Hard not to get something that Booker said means a lot to make history with the team.

Golden State Warriors had options to take the victory, which would have fit perfectly after losing the rhythm in this last stretch of the NBA regular season where they dropped to fourth place and made Denver Nuggets dream with the option of conquering the home court factor in the Playoffs: they are fifth two games behind Golden State, who in the absence of Curry have found the best version of Jordan Poole with 38 points and a 7 of 15 in three-pointers.
