NBA – Milwaukee Bucks made it big against Chicago Bulls | Playon99 News

The Bucks brought their NBA championship ring back to the fore once again and headed to a difficult victory over the Bulls. DeRozan was never the same and left the night on a platter for MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Milwaukee Bucks, at least, arrive well to their duel in Wisconsin against Phoenix Suns, who will be without Chris Paul and Devin Booker, in a clash at the top of the NBA.

The truth is that the Bucks are one of the best teams in the NBA, but they struggled to win against the Chicago Bulls by 118-112 and are tied for third in the Eastern Conference (39-25) with the Bulls, who have four losses and are starting to feel the effects of the absence of Lonzo, Caruso and Patrick Williams.

To add to Chicago’s woes, DeMar DeRozan has stopped being at a magical level every night and the Bulls, to top it all off, have to look back: they were leading the East not long ago, but now Boston Celtics, fifth in the Conference, are only a game and a half behind.

The game between Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls was worthy of NBA nights: intense, evenly matched until the end, worthy of a regional rivalry, and with transcendence in the very tight Eastern standings.

It’s 2-0 now for the Bucks in the head-to-head with two more games still to go in this NBA regular season.

Chicago Bulls picked themselves up off the canvas – 14-point lead for the Bucks in the second quarter – and were better throughout the middle stretch of the game.

That’s how the Bulls went into the final quarter ahead (91-83) and were then sucked in by the champion’s momentum.

Milwaukee is a force to be reckoned with when it gets physical and puts its big three in its hands: a double-double of 34 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists from Giannis Antetokounmpo, who also scored the free throws he was supposed to score on a bad night from the free-throw line.

Khris Middleton, on the rise since the All-Star Game, finished with 22+6+7 and Jrue Holiday with a 26+8+5 that does not encapsulate his true significance in the victory: 14 points in the last quarter, courageous baskets in crucial moments, and definitive offensive rebounds.

Chicago Bulls hit back and were alive almost until the end, although in the hot minutes DeRozan – who also started poorly and finished with 29 points and 5 assists – did not show up this time, Zach LaVine (30+8+6) led the final charge of resistance.

Billy Donovan is still hell-bent on Vucevic and Tristan Thompson playing together, but it didn’t work in crunch time against Atlanta Hawks and it didn’t work in a game where Milwaukee Bucks knew how to be physical without fouling: 8 of 11 on free throws for Chicago Bulls, 22 of 33 for the visitors, who added defense, rebounding and hierarchy in crunch time.
