Los Angeles Lakers won again with an inspired LeBron in GOAT mode. Washington Wizards could not stop the best player in the NBA in a night where he showed that he is the only one who can pull the cart in a team that will not fight much more than an entry to the Playoffs.

Los Angeles Lakers rose from the grave and beat the Washington Wizards 122-109 thanks to another phenomenal performance by LeBron James, the only player who can pull the cart for this bland team.

The Lakers had lost 6 of their last 7 games and had a trademark icy chest when games got intense. They would always feign a comeback but would fall apart near the end.

LeBron James showed up in his immensity to do beastly things and lead Los Angeles Lakers to victory: he scored 50 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

It’s the 14th time LeBron has done it in his career and the second consecutive home game after he scored 56 points last Saturday against Golden State Warriors, his high of the current NBA regular season.

To aggrandize the figure of LeBron James: he is the first player in the history of the National Basketball Association with more than a 50-point performance after his 37th birthday.

The heart of the Los Angeles Lakers was undoubtedly James: he hit 18 of the 25 shots he attempted from the field, including 6 of 9 three-pointers and 8 free throws without a miss in 36 minutes.

With his 7 rebounds, he surpassed Dikembe Mutombo for 20th place on the all-time NBA defensive rebounds list with 8,553.

After a very even first quarter that ended with a 26-26 score, Washington Wizards took the lead and went to halftime with a score of 59-52.

Los Angeles Lakers woke up and came back to threaten the comeback like every game: the third quarter ended in favor of the Angelinos by 89-82 with LeBron giving life to the Lakers with 12 consecutive points and a dunk that lifted the stands.

When everyone expected the usual last quarter collapse, Los Angeles Lakers brought out the best the NBA has, the GOAT, and with a part where they stretched their lead, the Lakers lived a great ending with LeBron James inspired: he finished off his work with another 14 final points.

Malik Monk (21+3+4) and Talen Horton-Tucker (15+5+3) were not even close to LeBron James, but they were next on the list of scorers for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The one who again had a bad day was Russell Westbrook, who was held to 5 points on an unlucky 2/11 shooting from the field, albeit with 9 assists for the player who will surely take a path away from Los Angeles.

Kyle Kuzma (23+7+3), rookie Corey Kispert (21+2) with a career-high, Rui Hachimura (15+6+1), Tomas Satoransky (14+3+4) and Kristap Porzingis (14+14+2) with a double-double, were the best in numbers for Washington Wizards.
