NBA – Irving is back at Brooklyn Nets

The National Basketball Association regained a valuable player: Irving made his debut for the Brooklyn Nets and proved that he is still the same as ever. PlayOn99 brings you all the basketball news on its new sports news website with all the latest from the NBA.

While half the world looks to Melbourne to see what happens to Novak Djokovic and his deportation process from Australia for not presenting the documentation of the vaccination against the coronavirus necessary to enter the country, the other half directed their attention to Indiana where another confessed anti-vaccine as Kyrie Irving played his first game of the season with the Brooklyn Nets.

The New York team decided to go back to their starting position as we told you on PlayOn99 News: they had removed Irving from the team due to his refusal to get vaccinated, which made it impossible for him to play home games due to New York regulations regarding vaccination.

Faced with casualties caused by injuries and COVID protocols, the Nets changed their principles and opened the doors to a Kyrie Irving who remains unvaccinated and who has won the battle against the franchise and the NBA.

The National Basketball Association brought back one of its best players. Irving showed in his first game of the season with 22 points and 4 assists, where the Nets offered a small dose of all the offensive potential they have in their hands with Harden, Durant and the controversial Kyrie.

Between the three they scored or assisted in 58 of the 69 points that the team scored in the second half of the game against the Pacers who stayed in 48 points.

The 29-year-old guard had not hit the court for seven months. His last meeting was against the Milwaukee Bucks during last season’s Eastern Conference semifinals.

Brooklyn Nets had been preparing to get the NBA Championship ring, but Milwaukee knocked them out of the competition. Irving failed to play all seven games and had not left a good feeling in his last participation: 11 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 18 minutes of play.

His return match was a show of talent that Irving has plenty of. Although it represents a defeat for some Nets that have changed their principles and have ended up giving in to the will of a single player. Is it worth it for a possible champion ring? Time will tell. The Big Three can do it.
