The National Basketball Association had one of those matchups that will be remembered in the postseason: Ja Morant and Nikola Jokic did not disappoint.
Young superstar on the rise from Memphis scored 38 points in another game that he will keep as a great memory for being the protagonist and architect of a huge campaign that already deposited him, surely, in the All-Star Game this year.

The base has dexterity, ability and mischief to play, but he is also pure showmanship and he showed it again with two plays that immediately went viral.
First with an impressive assist: he faced opponents, went into the paint and, when he rose and everyone was waiting for the shot, he assisted Jaren Jackson Jr. for a three-pointer.
Jaren Jackson Jr. on Ja Morant's pass that set up his big three: "I'm always ready for that. I know how much hang time he has. That's the same pass he threw to me in Utah. He looks at me and if he gives me that look, I know I have to be ready."pic.twitter.com/z5tdCd9NPD

Then he had one of his own, jumping as if nothing was happening and taking off from the ground a meter high, to make a tremendous dunk over his rival.
The Grizzlies had Morant to crown a huge victory, but De’Anthony Melton with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Jackson Jr. with 20 points and 5 rebounds were also key.

In any case, the big difference in the match was in a point that goes unnoticed: the Memphis Grizzlies bench managed to score over 40 points, while the Denver bench only scratched 20.
Despite the loss of his team, Nikola Jokic had another great night in which he is understood to be at a level worthy of regular season MVP.

The Nuggets pivot signed his triple-double number 12 this NBA season with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists in 41 minutes of play.
Although the top scorer on his team was Will Barton with 27 units.
Nikola Jokic has recorded a triple-double and 55% shooting in 3 straight games.
The only player with a longer streak in NBA history is Wilt Chamberlain, who had a 6-game run in 1968.
