Luka Doncic was decisive with 37 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists in the Dallas Mavericks’ 104-91 game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Slovenian who is the best player in the NBA and was well accompanied by Kristaps Porzingis with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks.

On the Grizzlies’ side, Ja Morant was once again present as he has accustomed us and deteriorated another double-double in his career: 35 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists in 42 minutes.

The player who shows the most contribution to the National Basketball Association this regular season continues to rise and imposes his presence when he has to face teams that are made up of superstars.

Morant made the cut as always, showing that he is ready to lead his franchise to higher echelons and once again flooded the track with plays that make NBA fans fall in love with feints and dunks.

Today he was not well accompanied by his team and in Memphis it is clear that there are even more pieces to fit in order to make a leap in quality against rivals that are much stronger and more complete in all aspects.

Doncic heaped praise on Morant during the week and stressed that he is a different player from the rest, but it was clear that the Slovenian is an all-rounder on the court and recorded the public – even this writer – that he is also 22 years old.

Leaving aside the interesting duel between two players who are talked about every day, the Dallas Mavericks were in the lead throughout the match and did not allow the visit to be imposed from the scoreboard for even a moment.

The first quarter already had a run with an eight-point lead for the Mavericks, while in the second they stretched even more to go to halftime with a run of 48-34.

Dallas did not take its foot off the accelerator for the third quarter, where it came to have a 22-point lead, finished with a total of 77-61 and, although the Memphis Grizzlies reacted very little for the final quarter, the result came calmly to finish at 104-91.

Despite the defeat, the Grizzlies remain calmly in third place in the Western Conference, while the Mavericks achieved a victory that leaves them calmer in fifth place in the same classification without despair due to the stalking of Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets.
