Chicago Bulls, with 41 points from a stellar DeMar DeRozan, got a big win over Milwaukee Bucks. A 114-109 score that served to tie the first-round series of the NBA Playoffs 1-1.

DeRozan, the man who led the Bulls to the Playoffs after five years of waiting, knocked down the reigning NBA champions with an incredible performance. He scored 41 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Both against Giannis Antetokounmpo.

He became the fifth Bulls player capable of scoring at least 40 points in a Playoffs game. And he led his team along with Alex Caruso, who shined for his work in the service of his teammates.

Caruso’s 9 points, 10 assists and 2 rebounds partially described his weight in Chicago’s win. While Nikola Vucevic‘s 24 points and 13 rebounds were also outstanding. And Zach LaVine’s 20 points.

It was a feat for the Bulls, who had lost all 5 meetings this year against Milwaukee Bucks. Antetokounmpo’s 33 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists were not enough for them.

The Bucks lost home-court advantage with the series moving to Chicago for the third and fourth meetings. And they also lost Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton to injury.

The DeRozan-Vucevic-LaVine trio had 56 percent overall shooting in the first half. And it led a 15-4 run that gave the Bulls a 63-49 lead.

A big performance by Giannis made up for the performance in the first meeting. But this time, the Bucks were compounded by problems: Bobby Portis was forced to retire with an eye problem.

The Bucks also lost Middleton to a sore left knee. But despite that Giannis continued to dominate and his power, coupled with Jrue Holiday’s three-pointers, allowed his team to cut the deficit to three points.

However, a spectacular Caruso when it came to battling for rebounds. And a DeRozan on a roll. They were able to defend a momentous win for the Bulls.

With a three-point margin and half a minute to play, Chicago won two offensive rebounds and DeRozan put two points on the board to tie the series.
