The new season of IPL has started this year and it will be the first time that the team will participate in the league with some of its new players this year. So far, the newly formed team has bought a total of 18 players, including Avesh Khan (10 crores), Kunal Pandya (8.25 crores), Quinton de Kock (6.75 crores) and Jason Holder (8.75 crores).

4. Deepak Hooda
The young player has been bought by the franchise for Rs 5.75 crore. Last year, the right-hander had scored an impressive 160 runs in 12 matches for the Punjab Kings.
5. Krishnappa Gautham
The player has been bought for Rs 90 lakh. Gotham was part of the Chennai Super Kings last season but did not play a single game.
