India and Pakistan encounters are always tough for every player from either side. There is immense pressure of expectations and Yesterday’s Asia Cup match wasn’t an exception to that.

Former Indian captain and left-handed batter Sourav Ganguly praised the men in blue for the win against arch-rivals Pakistan.
In Asia Cup second match on Sunday, the Pakistani team was put into bat by India after winning the toss. Bhubaneswar Kumar made the first blow by dismissing Captian Babar Azam later Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals. With help of Mohammad Rizwan’s 43, Pakistan reached a respectable score and set a target of 148 runs for India.
B Kumar was the top wicket-taker for India with 4 dismissals followed by all-rounder Hardik Pandya claiming 3 wickets.
India too suffered an early blow in the form of K L Rahul who was bowled out in the first over of the Indian innings. Rohit and Virat try to stable the ship but both got out after the initial starts.
All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja along with Hardik Pandya carved 50-plus runs important partnership to assure team India win.
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was pleased with team India’s all-around performance and tweeted “Good result for India at the start of Asia Cup, a lot of computers in tight situation”. We have seen team India crumble down in tough situations and losing matches. In yesterday’s match also at one point in time, Pakistan were having the upper hand but Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik handled the situation maturely to ensure India reaches the target of 148.
