Leicester loses eight players – West Ham walk calm

Leicester will not be able to count on several players due to positive covid to face Napoli today at 11:15 PM (India) and others because they presented symptoms before the trip to Italy. His rival is third in Serie A and they will have a tough stop in search of qualification. If he loses, he must wait for Legia Warsovia and Spartak Moscow to draw. Otherwise, they will fall into the UEFA Conference League.

The Foxies are not in a great season and are below mid-table in the Premier League, but they will seek consolation and want to continue as candidates in the Europa League. Coach Brendan Rodgers confirmed at a press conference that there are seven players who did not travel to the delegation due to positive and Covid symptoms, among which would be Kelechi Iheanacho, Ademola Lookman and Ayoze Pérez. Also, there would be five staff members in the same situation. Something similar to what happened to Tottenham: his match yesterday had to be postponed due to a Coronavirus outbreak and he could not have at least 13 players.

Although there is a light that the matter is even with Napoli: Italian coach Luciano Spalletti will not be able to send Koulibaly, Anguissa, Fabián Ruiz, Insigne and Osimhen to the field. All starters on the team that lost the Serie A lead last weekend.

West Ham: pretty bubbles in the air

The Hammers have a quiet stop. To enjoy the great moment, they are living: fourth in the Premier League with a last victory against Chelsea, they will face Dinamo Zagreb at 1:30 AM (India) already classified and with the first place in Group H assured. David Moyes confirmed at a press conference that he will give some young players minutes and said:

“Any young players who I give debuts to deserve any opportunity they get, because they’ve been doing so well. Some of them will get a chance to step up and show what they can do and all I can ask is that they are well supported and are well backed”.

Nikola Vlasic will be in the game after not entering the Premier League matches and the Croatian player welcomes taking minutes in the Europa League to continue with his adaptation to the team. The last time he stepped on the pitch was against Rapid Vienna in the same competition and he scored an assist on his behalf.
