King James and a confession about retirement: he will play for a year with his son. LeBron does not know what the future holds for him, but he is sure that the end of his career will be next to Bronny – Playon99 News

LeBron James has decided: before retiring, he will play a year with his son. It could be more, whatever the body or the head tells him.
The first premise is the one he took it upon himself to confirm in this break of the NBA regular season for the All-Star Game.

The historic Cleveland player admitted in his hometown that his intention is to go to the team that signs his son Bronny, still in his formative years, to make his dream of playing alongside him come true.
Jason Lloyd, a journalist at The Athletic, asked James about retirement and the player replied:
“The last year I will play alongside my son. I’ll be wherever Bronny is, wherever he is. I will do everything I can to play with my son for a year. This has nothing to do with money anymore”.
LeBron was questioned about the third stint with Cleveland Cavaliers now that they are playing so well and James sees that the door is not closed:
“I’m not saying I’m going to come back and play. I don’t know what the future holds for me”.
LeBron astutely notes that he doesn’t know when he’ll be free to decide. When his contract runs out. But he is privy to that information when he talks about the possibility of playing with his son.
The Los Angeles Lakers will see him as an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2023 and there will come the first big decision for the father, as his son Bronny won’t make it to the NBA -at least- until 2024.

There are those who see in these statements a way to put pressure on the Lakers management to make them move now and change the team or to prepare the firstborn’s contract and thus retain him until the end of his career.
A change in regulations could lead to an earlier meeting between LeBron and Bronny, but it is a condition for it to happen before 2024. James, the father, will enter that year having turned 39.
Bronny James warming up. Looks pretty fluid. He’s a HUGE piece of Sierra Canyon’s flow that goes under the radar.
He plays a great floor game, helps to move the ball, pushes the break, makes the extra pass and is a threat from beyond the arc.

Bronny is training at his father’s side in Los Angeles, specifically at Sierra Canyon School.
Over the past few months, LeBron has admitted that he sacrifices hours of sleep to travel between games to follow his son in other cities, he is very attached to his progress.
The youngster is good, though the buzz about his game is nowhere near what the patriarch was getting back in 2002 and 2003 at Akron’s St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.
