According to Jhulan, playing against the Kiwis will give us a chance to rectify our mistakes and our bench strength will also be tested before the World Cup. We haven’t done much internationally in recent history. Tournaments would be a good way to get familiar with the pitches and weather.
Many are expecting the Chakda pacer to take off his shoes right after the World Cup, but Jhulan has ensured his future ambitions. The World Cup is the top priority at the moment. India’s 18-man squad will leave for New Zealand later this month, starting on February 11. The only T20 match will be played on 9 February.
The AIWSC (All India Women’s Selection Committee) of the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) this Thursday selected the women’s team (ICC Women’s World Cup 2022) which is going to be held in New Zealand this year. The captain for the ICC wold cup 2022 will be Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur will be the vice-captain of the Indian team.

The first world cup match will be played between Team India and Pakistan on 6th March at the Bay Oval, Tauranga. The Indian Women’s team will play in a round-robin format of 7 matches before the knockout. The team will also participate in a 5-match ODI series against New Zealand starting 11 February 2022.This is going to be an interesting match before the world cup and a fantastic opportunity for the women’s cricket team to prove themselves.
