The world cricket rivalry between India and Pakistan is well-known around the world. Both teams have contested strongly in any ICC or bilateral series played between them over the years. Meanwhile, driven by political conflict between two neighbours, bilateral cricket connections between India and Pakistan were terminated. In international competitions, the two teams only met once or twice.
With all of this in mind, the Dubai Cricket Council has offered to organize a bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan in the future.

“The ideal thing to do here is to organize a match between India VS Pakistan, ” Dubai Cricket Council Chairman Abdul Rahman Falaknaz told Khaleej Times. It was a war when India and Pakistan teams played in Sharjah a few years ago. This was how it used to be. But the war used to be good, it was unparalleled, and it was fantastic from a sporting standpoint.”
He went on to say that Dubai will host the series in their country to re-start the good rivalry between the two teams in a series. “As a result, this is what we’d like to do.” It would be amazing if we could persuade India to come here and play Pakistan once or twice a year,” he continued.
He also requested the BCCI to hold IPL matches in Dubai on a regular basis, noting that the UAE had successfully hosted the league for the past two years.

“It is entirely up to the BCCI to decide what they want to do.” We get along swimmingly with them. They’ve seen our potential. “I would ask them to come and hold their IPL here and end in India, or here and finish in India,” he remarked.
“And they’ve been so properly cared for that they’re really content with us.” “I believe we can still support and do what we can for cricket, and we will do as much as our friends want us to,” he continued.
