IND vs ENG:Bumrah smashes Broad fiercely, hitting 35 runs in a single over with a world record

The Indian cricket team is clashing against England in the last match of the five-match Test series. In this match, Team India made a great comeback after the centuries of Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja. But more than these two players, the player who is in the headlines at the moment is Jasprit Bumrah, the new captain of Team India. As soon as Bumrah came out to bat on the second day, he created a new history.

Bumrah hit 35 runs

When Jasprit Bumrah came to bat for Team India on the second day of the fifth Test, he did wonders. Bumrah razed England’s leading bowler Stuart Broad. In fact, Broad brought the 84th over for England. Bumrah made a strong attack on him in this over and hit 35 runs. This is history in Test cricket and to date, the biggest batsman has not been able to score so many runs in an over.

Rail made of fours and sixes

Bumrah broke over Broad with the very first ball of this over. He hit a four on the first ball of this over, while a four was also hit with a wide on the second ball. Broad bowled the third ball and Bumrah also hit a six on it. After this, Bumrah hit three consecutive fours and a six. Even after this, the last ball of this over was left, on which Bumrah changed the strike by taking a single. Accordingly, a total of 35 runs came in this single over of Broad. This is a world record. Earlier, Brian Lara had made a record of scoring 28 runs in an over.
