Juventus beat Sassuolo 2-1 at the Allianz Stadium and will face advanced to the semifinals of the 2021-22 Italian Cup.

Paulo Dybala opened the game for the Vecchia Signora in just three minutes: the Argentine found a rebound inside the area and shot a volley to make it 1-0.

The match turned uphill for Sassuolo, but the visitors went for an equalizer and forced goalkeeper Mattia Perin to save Juventus twice.

After so much insistence and after 24 minutes, the Ivorian Hamed Junior Traorè scored for 1-1 with a fantastic shot and after a good wall with Gianluca Scamacca.

Juventus was once again the protagonist for the second half, but collided -first against the post- and then before the immensity of goalkeeper Gianluca Pegolo: he took three shots on the line and a one-on-one against Álvaro Morata.

When the game was over, Dusan Vlahovic -the brand-new addition who debuted with a goal- received from the left, waited and managed to escape from two marks to define and have the fortune that the ball bounced off Rouen so that all of Juventus celebrate the turn of the scoreboard in an agonizing way.

In this way, Juventus advanced to the semifinals and will face Fiorentina in search of continuing to defend the title they won last season.

Fiorentina and Atalanta were a tremendous game

There was no respite: Atalanta and Fiorentina battled until they were fed up to see who would get the ticket to the semifinals of the Coppa Italia, which, towards the end, was won by the violet cast by winning 3-2.

In just nine minutes and from a penalty, Fiorentina took the lead thanks to Krzysztof Piatek, but a while later it was Davide Zappacosta who equalized with a phenomenal goal: he settled near the left apex of the area and took a shot placed at the opposite angle.

For the second half, Atalanta came out better on the field and made it 2-1 thanks to a good individual play by Jeremi Boga, which he defined with his foot wide open.

Fiorentina once again had the game uphill and, again thanks to a penalty, Piatek had the tie at his feet: the striker shot from twelve steps, Juan Musso saved, but scored the goal on the rebound.

When time was running out and in the 93rd minute, Nikola Milenkovic took a rebound from outside the area and shot in an exquisite way to give Fiorentina the agonizing victory and the pass to the semifinals against Juventus.
