Gambia miraculously won and got into the quarter-finals as well as Cameroon, the hosts, who took advantage on the desks and on the field. PlayOn99 News tells you all about this Africa Cup that, believe it or not, has more irregularities than expelled.

Gambia lives its happiest days
It was already a miracle that Gambia, 132 in the FIFA ranking and with only eight CAF federations below, qualified for the Africa Cup and even greater was the achievement when the players managed to advance sharing the leadership of the group stage.
The fairy tale for the Gambians did not end there, but they played the round of 16 with a knife between their teeth and beat Guinea 1-0 with a goal from their star who plays for Bologna in Serie A, Musa Barrow.
The striker received a great assist between the lines from Yusupha Bobb, controlled in a focused manner to elude the defender and finished with class to give his team the winning goal.
Musa Barrow knows how to finish ?

Five minutes after the goal, Guinea reached the rival area and, with a snipe, Ibrahima Sory Conté found the ball to send it inside the goal, but the lineman canceled it well due to an advanced position.
The same defender from Guinea was the protagonist of two situations in which the referee showed his inability to see this sport: first when he was supported by an arm in the face and his rival, Yusupha Njie, was sent off for a double yellow card and then for suffering the same situation, but with Sory Conté being sent off, when he simply put his body to hold the ball and the judge decided it was a serious foul.
Detail to correct the arbitrations in this African Cup so that embarrassing situations like today’s with two players unfairly expelled in a match that should be a celebration for both cannot be seen.

As a curiosity, and to add magnitude to the feat, Gambia, being among the 12 worst teams according to the CAF ranking, will participate in the first qualifying round for the Ivory Coast Africa Cup of 2023, in March.
In Cameroon, for the moment, they made history and are among the 8 best countries on the continent, the miracle of Gambia is incredible, but in a few months they will have to be playing for who will be among the 12 worst in Africa for the 2023 cup.
"Today, you will show the WHOLE WORLD, not only Gambia, that you are all heroes." ?♂️

Cameroon stained the Africa Cup
The local team beat the weak Comoros Islands 2-1, but the news came about in a situation that embarrasses the African organization: the visit had to have a left-back in goal!
Comoros had an outbreak of coronavirus and, although one of the goalkeepers managed to give a negative result in the second test, the CAF directors launched a sudden change in the regulations on the hour and did not allow him to line him up.
The clear advantage for the locals was totally absurd and unnecessary, but it reminds us that CAF is one of the confederations most tainted by mismanagement, bribery and lousy organizations, like almost the entire football world of course.
Cameroon tried to take advantage of this situation at all times, but Comoros held on as best they could and left the tournament in which they made their debut with honor and surprised everyone when they advanced to the group stage.
To make the resistance of the visit more epic, Nadjim Abdou, the captain, was sent off seven minutes into the match.
Karl Toko Ekambi and Vincent Aboubakar scored the goals for Cameroon, while Youssouf M’Changama scored the stoppage time with just ten minutes remaining in a match in which, conspicuously, the Comoros Islands finished with more shots than the embarrassing home team.
