The drama of relegation has already hit several teams across the major European leagues. Watford and Norwich have already been relegated from the Premier League. While Greuther Fürth already know they will not be in the Bundesliga next year.

Premier League – England
After 46 very long matchdays, the regular campaign in the Championship came to an end. And Fulham dominated along with Bournemouth.

The London team returns to the Premier League a year later. After ruling the English second tier thanks to Mitrovic’s record 43 goals.
The Cherries are back after two seasons in hell. Solanke’s 29 goals have propelled them into the Premier League.

Now Huddersfield, historic Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United and surprise package Luton will all be looking to go up in the Playoffs.
Serie A – Italy
With a nail-biting finish in Serie B and several teams in with a chance of gaining direct promotion, Lecce and Cremonese were able to secure the prize. After two years in the second division, the Giallorossi returned to the top flight as champions.

Second place went to Cremonese, who had not been in Serie A since 1996. They have gone through Serie C and C2 to return to the top flight.
With those two teams having secured their place, the last one will come out of a very tough Playoff. Pisa and Monza, third and fourth, will meet Brescia, Ascoli, Benevento and Perugia in the semifinals. They will meet in the quarterfinals in a single match.

Bundesliga – Germany
The German second division is full of history. Soccer giants who have fallen into an abyss from which they are struggling to emerge. The first to emerge from the abyss is Schalke 04.
The miners, whose post-confinement results crisis sent them to Bundesliga.2 last season, have only taken a year to return. They managed it one matchday before the end of a campaign full of ups and downs.

Behind them in second place is Werder Bremen, who are just one point away from promotion. Third is Hamburg, who will play Darmstadt for a play-off place against the Bundesliga’s second-bottom team. It will be a two-legged tie.
Ligue 1 – France
Ligue 2 already has a champion. Toulouse, with Healey and Van den Boomen as key players, sealed their promotion early.

After relegation in 2020, they are back in Ligue 1 in 2022. Second is Ajaccio, who take a point from Auxerre before the last matchday. They have it in their hands to go straight up and avoid the Playoff.
A round for which the two aforementioned, Paris FC and Sochaux, have already secured a place. From them will come the team that will play against the second last team in Ligue 1.
La Liga – Spain
In Spain, nothing is certain. Almeria are top of La Liga Smartbank, just two points behind Eibar. But third-placed Valladolid is two points behind the second-placed team. And all with three rounds to play.

The top two will be promoted directly to La Liga. While third, fourth, fifth and sixth will play a Playoff.
The third will be defined among the first three mentioned above. While Tenerife, Girona and Oviedo will share the remaining slots. Although Ponferradina and U.D. Las Palmas are just a few points behind.
