The great clubs of the world stopped their ears: Erling Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund. His agent, Mino Raiola, confirmed to the German media Sport1 that the Norwegian forward made the decision to take the next step in his career and will go to a club where he has a much more ambitious competition. In any case, the Italian clarified that he will not leave in this transfer window and said:

“There’s a great chance that Haaland will leave this summer. We’ll usually asked  Dortmund what our idea is and BVB reval  us their ideas. But no decision about Erling future will be made in downtime We will see”.

Borussia Dortmund was eliminated from the Champions League this week, they will play the Europa League, a tournament that Haaland will surely make a difference, and in the Bundesliga they are second, having lost the last game against Bayern Munich -leaders- and without many chances to aspire to the title. Even so, Erling dedicated himself to scoring goals in a brutal way: he has scored 74 goals in 72 games with the yellow jersey, 11 in 8 in this Bundesliga and yesterday he dispatched himself with a double against Besiktas. The cyborg deserves a bigger chance in his career and Raiola said:

“Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona,   Manchester City… These are the big clubs I can join. City won the Premier League five times, significantly more than Manchester United. When we moved to Dortmund, we all knew that this step would come”.

Why not, Citizens? Erling was born in Leeds, England, while his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, a Norwegian forward who knew how to play for Manchester City, was on the English team. The Norwegian striker is remembered for having suffered a historic situation in 2001: Manchester United’s Roy Keane went with the intention of injuring him in a city derby and caused a knee injury that forced him to retire. Pure revenge. Maybe it’s one of the reasons his son doesn’t want to play for the Reds.
