Just by the grace of social media, everyone can present their thoughts and opinions nowadays. Danish Kaneria, the former Pakistani cricket player who was always got trapped in controversies by his statements, has again commented on Sanju Samson.

The player failed to establish his cricket career, but nowadays expert comments are seen. Let us know what did he say about Sanju Samson.

The Indian Wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson, who is still unable to fix his place in Team India, is often in the headlines. In the first ODI match against West Indies, Samson was not able to show anything special and now Kaneria has made a sharp comment on Samson regarding this matter.

Sanju Samson scored his first fifty in this match. They were playing quite well but their luck was so bad that they got run out: Danish Kaneria

Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria believes that India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson will do well if he gets regular opportunities in international cricket. According to him, Samson is a very good player and he has such batting technique that he can become a top batsman.

Let me tell you, while on the one hand, Sanju Samson’s form in the IPL is doing very well, on the other hand, his form in international cricket has been quite disappointing. However, in the second ODI against the West Indies played in Trinidad on 24 July, he played an excellent half-century of 54 runs and played an important role in the team’s victory. This is his first fifty in ODI cricket.

Danish Kaneria supported Samson on his YouTube channel and said, ‘There is no doubt that Sanju Samson is a great player. But he has been constantly in and out of the Indian team. I fully hope that if he continues to get opportunities, he will surely perform well.

Danish Kaneria further said, ‘His batting is worth watching. He has the art of playing long innings. In the second ODI match against the West Indies, he batted to the maximum and excellently played his shots without rushing.

“Sanju is a fantastic player, no doubt about it. But he has been constantly in and out of the team. If he gets consistent opportunities, he will deliver. I am sure about that.”

His luck was bad that he was run out: Danish Kaneria

Danish Kaneria further said, ‘Sanju Samson scored his first half-century in this match. He was playing quite well but his luck was bad and he got run out. Deepak Hooda called for a run and Sanju Samson started running and was run out. He was batting quite well and was pushing his innings forward.

Samson made his international debut in 2015, but today even after 7 years, he has not been able to make his permanent place on the team. One of the main reasons for this is that he did not get many chances to play.

In this time, Samson has played only 14 T20 and 2 ODI matches. So far they have scored 251 and 58 runs respectively. In the upcoming World Cup, if he wants to secure his place in the team, he will have to do something big in the few opportunities he gets. If Samson shows good rhythm then he can be included in the 50 over World Cup.
