Dallas Mavericks beat the Chicago Bulls 113-99 and snapped the Eastern Conference leader’s streak. Doncic was once again the protagonist of basketball news in the National Basketball Association with a triple-double.

Dallas Mavericks defeated the Chicago Bulls 113-99 this morning with a brilliant performance from Luka Doncic: he finished with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists for his third triple-double of the season.

The Mavericks added their sixth straight win and snapped the Bulls’ nine-game win streak. Dallas’ streak is the longest since they recorded six victories between March and April 2016.

Josh Green and Maxi Kleber finished with their best regular-season records: 18 points each at Dallas. Green had his best game hitting 9 points in the fourth quarter, while Kleber equaled his personal best with 6 triples.

Jalen Brunson helped with 17 points, Dorian Finney-Smith had 12 and Dwight Powell 10.

Doncic, who was in the lineup after missing the last game with a sprained ankle, posted his first triple-double since Nov. 29.

DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, Chicago’s key duo this NBA season, scored 20 points each for the Bulls.

The Mavericks led 83-81 before DeRozan started the fourth quarter with a shot from mid-range. From that point on, Dallas went 19-7 to take a 102-88 lead with 6:24 left.

On the Dallas bench, Sean Sweeney, third coach, led the team for the fifth time in a row after Kristaps Porzingis and Jason Kidd, first and second coach, tested positive for coronavirus.
