The Suns lose a key player with Chris Paul’s fractured finger and are out of action until the Playoffs. The point guard will have to recover to go in search of the first ring in the history of the Arizona franchise – Playon99 News

The Phoenix Suns were living their days with all roses: the best team in the NBA regular season and the main favorite for the ring that eluded them last season, but everything can be reversed.
Minutes before the start of the All-Star Game in Cleveland 2022, TNT announced that Chris Paul’s finger problem in his right hand is serious and that the point guard will have to be out for a minimum of six weeks, which could be extended up to eight.

Paul has a fracture that he must take care of and now he must stop. After the cold water for the Arizona franchise, Chris played a couple of minutes in the All-Star game, almost enough to figure, and began an absence that could last until the Playoffs.
Let’s get to the numbers: the 2021-22 regular season ends in seven weeks, more precisely on April 10. The Playoffs -after the Playin- start on April 16.
So, we may not see Chris Paul until the title playoffs. A blow to a team launched in a good moment, but one that has plenty of room to handle the absence of one of the best point guards in history.

The Suns (48-10 and Western Conference leaders) are six and a half games ahead of the Golden State Warriors (42-17) and eight games ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies (41-19).
No one in the Eastern Conference has fewer than 21 losses. In that sense, everything points to Phoenix having a home-court factor in all the Playoffs and the Finals included.

Paul averaged 14.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 10.7 assists, being here the best in the National Basketball Association over James Harden, and in which he aspired to close the season as a leader for the fifth time in his career.
The question for the Suns is that Paul arrives in good condition for the Playoffs because he is the star and essential figure in their dream of winning the first ring in the history of the franchise.
He will turn 37 in May and last summer he was given a new four-year, $120 million contract despite his age.
