The Champions League Quarter-Finals have been drawn. And the draw has thrown incredible matches for the definition of the most important tournament in the world. Old acquaintances, teams that did not want to meet, and luck on Klopp’s side.

How the Quarterfinals were drawn

After a Round of 16 that produced surprising results and vibrant matches. The Quarterfinals did not want to be left behind. And the filter left matches that could well be an early final.

The first, and perhaps the most impressive, match will be between Chelsea, the reigning Champions League. And FIFA Club World Cup champions, and Real Madrid, the eternal European multi-champions who have just eliminated Paris Saint-Germain(PSG) with a historic comeback.

Fortunately for Real Madrid, the first leg will be played in London on April 6. And the second leg in Spain on April 12.

The most shocking thing about this key is that the British Government prevented Chelsea from selling tickets. As a sanction to Roman Abramovich in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Although everything will be defined in a meeting next week. And the Blues fans will know if they will be able to enjoy their team in the Champions League.

This first crossroads shares a knockout key with two other giant and very different teams: Manchester City and Atlético Madrid.

Diego Simeone versus Pep Guardiola. Two completely different styles fear each other because anything can come out of this.

The winners of these two first crossings will face each other in the semifinals, so there could be a Madrid derby. A repeat of the last final, or even a rematch for any of these teams against each other.

In the other group, two continental giants got off the cheapest: Bayern Munich will face surprise package Villarreal and Liverpool will have to play Benfica.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich will close their two matches at home -Anfield Road and Allianz Arena, respectively. And will have the obligation to win against two opponents that are vastly inferior.

Benfica and Villarreal are two teams that reached the Champions League Quarter-Finals in a surprising way: the yellows because they eliminated the powerful Juventus in Italy. And are playing really well. while the Portuguese took out Ajax -the best in the Group Stage- in Holland.
