New player for the Brooklyn Nets: Dragic will join the team. The Slovenian will be part of a roster that already has stars like Irving and Durant and added Simmons, Curry and Drummond – Playon99 News
By Facundo Di Bona (@facudibona).
The 35-year-old Slovenian point guard was looking for a contender in which to complete a season in which he had not played: in the summer he was traded to Toronto Raptors in the Kyle Lowry trade, but in Canada, he had no interest in playing.
Five games are all the baggage and he was on the sidelines for the Raptors until, on deadline day, he was sent to San Antonio Spurs as part of the trade that brought Thaddeus Young to Toronto.

Four days later, the Spurs cut him and now Dragic has plucked the daisy: he will play for the Nets in search of the Playoffs and a championship ring.

Milwaukee Bucks was another of Dragic’s suitors, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers, but not the Dallas Mavericks, who have closed their roster and have not bid for the point guard despite his strong early-season buzz and his obvious connection to compatriot Luka Doncic.
Steve Nash, with whom Dragic coincided in Phoenix Suns, has been key to the arrival of the Slovenian to one of the great contenders for the ring, a team that will have a tremendous rotation in the Playoffs.
Kyrie, Durant, Curry, Simmons, Drummond and also Patty Mills, Cam Thomas, Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge, Bruce Brown, James Johnson, shooter Joe Harris in case his injury does not force him to miss the whole season and now Goran Dragic, a very veteran player, but who performed in Miami Heat that reached the Final of the bubble season at Disney World.
Brooklyn is stacked once again.

Dragic hasn’t played since Nov. 13 and in his five games with the Raptors, he was held to averages of 8 points and 1.8 assists.
In his NBA career, he is averaging 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 872 games – 524 starts – spread between Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, and Toronto Raptors.
In 2018 he was part of the All-Star Game and, in 2014, National Basketball Association MVP and member of the Third Best Five. To make room for him on their roster, the Nets will cut point guard Jevon Carter.
