Unusual: they would have thrown a bullet into the field in the match between Porto and Sporting de Lisboa. A Portuguese newspaper revealed that the players fought on the field because Pepe wanted to hide her from the referee – Playon99 News
By Facundo Di Bona (@facudibona).
The match between Porto and Sporting Lisbon ended, in addition to a two-goal draw, with a brutal brawl between players and members of the coaching staff of both clubs.
After the fight, the match referee ended up expelling up to three players – two from Lisbon and one from Dragao – after a monumental confrontation that lasted more than five minutes over almost the entire pitch.
One of the proper names of the night was the former Real Madrid, Pepe, who starred in the last play of the game that ended up leading to a tangana and was the player of the local team who saw the red card, but it is that -in addition, according to reports the Portuguese newspaper A Bola- the veteran Portuguese central defender was also present at a serious act that took place during the first half.
Pepe reportedly hid a bullet during Friday's match between Porto and Sporting so that the referee wouldn't see it, per A Bola.

In the 44th minute of the first half, Ricardo Esgaio, a Sporting Lisbon player, received a yellow card when he faced Pepe.
The reason? The Lions footballer wanted the former Real Madrid player to show referee João Pinheiro an object.
According to this media, Pepe, near the Sporting area, would have tried to hide an object that, according to the league delegate’s report, could be a bullet.
The current champion of the Portuguese league is waiting for the referee’s report of the match to now collect what happened with respect to the object that would have fallen from one of the stands of the Estadio do Dragão.

A Bola adds that in the television images it is visible that the Sporting players realized the seriousness of the incident and it led to their reaction to the Porto player.
The first confrontation between players from both teams, which took place before the end of the first half, ended with the 38-year-old center-back on the ground and rebuked by the Lisbon players.
Finally – and according to the report – Pepe handed the object to the referee and it remains to be seen if the league confirms that it was a bullet thrown onto the field of play in a derby that was spicier than football.
